Verefa Ltd

Date of Statement: June 3, 2025
This voluntary statement is made by Verefa Ltd in accordance with the spirit of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. Although Verefa Ltd is not currently required by law to publish a modern slavery statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we have chosen to do so voluntarily as we are committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our business and supply chain.

Our Business
Verefa is a UK-registered technology company focused on biometric authentication and digital identity services. Our operations are primarily software-based, with limited physical supply chain exposure.

Our Commitment
We are committed to upholding ethical standards and human rights throughout our operations. We oppose all forms of slavery, servitude, forced labour, and human trafficking.

Our Supply Chain
At present, Verefa operates primarily within the UK and uses reputable service providers for cloud infrastructure, development tools, and hardware procurement (where applicable). We aim to work only with partners and suppliers who uphold similar standards of ethical conduct.

Due Diligence and Risk Management
As part of our commitment to ethical practices, we:

Review supplier and partner credibility and compliance;

Maintain clear internal policies against exploitation or unfair labour practices;

Will continue to monitor and assess areas of risk as we scale.

Future Action
As Verefa grows, we intend to:

Formalise supplier codes of conduct;

Expand due diligence on hardware and infrastructure providers;

Provide internal awareness for directors and staff regarding modern slavery risks.

Approval
This statement has been voluntarily adopted by the CEO and Director of Verefa Ltd and is reviewed annually or upon significant changes in business operations.
